The Climate Action Secretariat’s Indigenous Relations Team commissioned a culturally meaningful event pop-up banner and promotional stickers to enhance engagement and representation at events.  

The artwork, created by in-house illustrator Bayja Morgan-Banke, features a black bear standing by a river, framed by an imposing mountain range, with a deciduous forest on one side and a coniferous forest on the other. In the foreground, traditional Indigenous flora—including a cedar bough, salmon berry leaf, Lyall’s Mariposa Lily, and fireweed—are depicted, reinforcing a deep connection to the land.  

This initiative reflects the Secretariat’s commitment to cultural representation and meaningful engagement with Indigenous communities through visually compelling, thoughtful design.
